Our story

An independent studio, built in the open.

App Factory is the studio of Hammertime Consulting LLC, a veteran-owned company in Pennsylvania. It exists for one reason: small, well-made apps that solve real problems for real people, without accounts, noise, or dark patterns.

Five apps are live on the App Store today, with a sixth in review. Each one started as a problem somebody nearby actually had: materials that never got returned, a garden game that gives you a quiet minute, job numbers a contractor can finally see clearly, military pay made understandable, and a calmer way into a hard conversation.

The factory metaphor is not decoration. Ideas come in rough, get worked on the bench in public, and ship when they are ready. That is the whole story, and it keeps going.
